Summary

Amplifi Capital is a Private Equity backed consumer lending FinTech that works with Credit Unions, Building Societies, and CDFIs to offer personal loans to near-prime consumers who can’t access credit from traditional high street banks.

We worked with Amplifi to set up the necessary technical and associated operations to facilitate the desired lending throughput; and to work through the required due diligence work so as to comply with FCA regulations.

Key Outcomes

  • Set the entity up with relevant FCA licenses: credit broker, lender, and credit data processor
  • Architected and deployed a new credit brokerage platform using serverless architecture principles
  • Managed systems and operations changes that increased lending throughput 3x: £5m pcm to £15m pcm
  • Reduced time from credit underwriting to cash disbursement from a days to hours with handover of a roadmap to increase the automation to make this as near real-time as possible

We worked with Halotrade to manage a proof of concept with Credit Suisse, Unilever, Sainsbury’s and Malawian farmers in conjunction with another blockchain startup Provenance.
